Behind this new project is a host couple known for making guests feel genuinely welcome.
After years of creating positive guest experiences in their previous lodging, they now begin a new chapter in northern Portugal, bringing with them the same warmth, friendliness, and personal attention that guests appreciated before.
Their way of hosting is simple and sincere: being available when needed, offering thoughtful local suggestions, and helping each stay feel comfortable, relaxed, and human.

When are we opening?
We are currently preparing the house and plan to open near 2027 easter period. As we are still in the final stages of development, the exact opening date will be confirmed closer to completion. If you would like to stay informed, you are welcome to get in touch.
What accomodations are we planning?
We are preparing a rural stay in northern Portugal with 3 private guest suite rooms, with two singular bed next to each other, and with balconies. Guests will also share welcoming common areas such as the living room, pool, and outdoor spaces. Home-cooked meals on request. The house is being designed for a peaceful, comfortable, and personal stay, with more photos and final details to be shared as the project moves forward.
What kind of experience can guests expect with us?
A warm and welcoming stay, with a personal touch. As we live in the house, we are nearby if guests need help or local recommendations, while always respecting their privacy and space. We want each stay to feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuine.
Do you welcome pilgrims?
Yes — pilgrims are warmly welcome. We offer a special rate for Camino travellers, together with a comfortable place to rest, recharge, and enjoy a peaceful stop along the way. If they wish, we are also happy to prepare a simple meal, and can help arrange a shuttle ride when needed.
Vila Nova de Cerveira
Vila Nova de Cerveira offers a rare mix of river, ocean, mountains, and culture in one of northern Portugal’s most distinctive settings. Set by the River Minho, close to the Atlantic coast, connected to the Caminho da Costa de Santiago de Compostela, and surrounded by the character of Alto Minho’s hills and mountain landscapes, it is a peaceful and inspiring base for discovering the region at a slower pace.
